On the World Wide Web rebranding. It's a great question. It's even better for non english speaking countries (I'm from The Netherlands). To translate or not means a great deal for the branding of an emerging technology, right now I hear people struggling mid-sentence to choose between AI (English abbreviation and therefore pronunciation) or KI (Dutch equivalent). The latter feels like the right thing to do (speaking your own language), but everything new sounds even sexier and more exotic in a different language. For techies that might be great, but for the average internet user, this might make (feel) even harder to grasp and embrace.
