Agreed with the proliferation of social experiences (even looking back in 2023!). The challenge is the longevity of these apps -- they most follow a game studio development model, where people sign up with fresh social graphs to play a new social game, which burns out over time (as you mentioned, Clubhouse is the prime example of this). For these experiences to last, they need to have underlying rails to keep the experiences fresh overtime. Until we shift from an ads-based business model to something that is less extractive to the users, we'll be stuck in these micro-social apps that boom and bust repeatedly.
